Calling all visual artists, painters and graffiti artists! The Arts Garage, in partnership with Philadelphia Open Studio Tour (POST) of The Center for Emerging Visual Artists, presents Artists for Social Change | Battle of the Canvas 2010 on August 28, 2010 from 4pm to midnight. This is an event open to the public to witness such an exhibition that will highlight artists’ power to help shape and change their communities. A day full of color, live music, DJs, food and drink can be expected. There has been nothing like this in Philadelphia and the works produced will be installed throughout The Arts Garage and exhibited during the Philadelphia Open Studio Tour in October.
